08/17/2005 CS expands Meeting Coordination Team
Germantown, MD -- August 17, 2005 -- Convention Strategy announces the addition of a Senior Meeting Coordinator to the operations team.

Jessica K. Robert’s joins CSI to oversee the strategic coordination and execution of CSI’s most complex and prominent meetings, events, and trade shows.  She brings to CSi strong organizational skills, a can-do attitude, and an entrepreneurial spirit.

Prior to joining CSI, Roberts gained professional experience through her duties at International Physicians Network (IPN) working as a meeting planner.  IPN is a group-purchasing organization specializing in the support of community-based medical practices.  At IPN, she was responsible for the coordination of over 50 events a year including one-day symposiums, and large meetings with over 200 attendees. Roberts also arranged over 60 dinner meetings annually for the network.

Prior joining IPN, Roberts served as an event planner for JT Dunn Enterprises.  In this position, she was responsible for the preparation of eight annual trade shows for the hospitality industry, and also planned an annual golf tournament.

Roberts is a member of the Potomac chapter of Meeting Professionals International (MPI), the Washington, DC chapter of the International Special Events Society (ISES), and served as the managing director of the Washington, DC chapter of Hospitality and Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMAI).

Mrs. Roberts received a B.A. in Communication from the University of Maryland, College Park.  She resides in Crownsville, Maryland with her husband Chad.
