Germantown, MD -- December 15, 2003 -- Convention Strategy entered in the trade show development and consulting market under the leadership of it’s founders Robert Davis and Carla Harrison.

Convention Strategy, Inc takes a unique approach to trade show management.  Convention Strategy is dedicated to the creation of targeted and innovative industry-leading events that deliver results.  Within the hospitality trade show industry, there are many marketing and vehicles being demonstrated within the management community credited to Convention Strategy’s historical creative ingenuity.

Robert M. Davis, President and Chief Executive Officer, co-founded Convention Strategy in 2003 with the vision of becoming an emerging and innovative provider in meeting and convention management services. Davis is responsible for CS' overall vision and growth of the CS core business model, as well as for building CS' corporate brand awareness. He also provides expertise in trade show and event promotion.  Prior to founding CS, Davis was with JTDunn Management Group, a leader in the management and production of one-day hospitality regional trade shows.

Carla A. Harrison co-founded CS and is responsible for executing convention sales and forging unique industry partnerships.  Carla, dynamic and results-oriented, has comprehensive experience in the trade show, conference and event planning industry.  Carla’s possesses a tremendous drive and is customer-focused with a proven track record of increasing sales through superior product knowledge, capturing market opportunities and comprehensive staff training.  Prior to CS, Carla was Director of Sales for JTDunn Management Group.

Founded in 2003, Convention Strategy has more than 15 years of experience in marketing, sales and production, and is dedicated to the creation of targeted and industry leading technologies for meetings and events.
